The menu of a McDonald's here compared to on in Japan or India are virtually 100% different.

I am doing an essay on Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe which is significantly focused on the deterioration of an Igbo society. I found my reading you're post and i think relating deteriorating of culture to globalisating is very interesting, never thought of it.

This happened in the early 70s too, when young women started going braless. The stores responded by nippling up their mannequins, but I was always puzzled by process behind this. They obviously did not replace the entire mannequin, so where did the nipples come from? Did the corporate office send a box of nipples to each store? Was it left up to the store manager to figure something out? Who got to put the nipples on? Where did they go when the style ended? Does every store have a box of nipples in the back room awaiting their rotation in the cycles of fashion? Such are the mysteries of our times.....

I have the same feeling that im adopted but someone isn't telling me the truth or something. Because so called mom and dad treat me way different then my 2 other siblings im not allowed to use the Lawn Mower or ride the 4 wheeler if i start drama i get into trouble but if its my other siblings do whatver they want my so called parents say i dunno whats the law says about parents telling there kids if they really are or ain't adopted something just doesn't feel right and im getting really mad because i wanna know the truth why is someone lieing to me. Its my right to know.

hey kiera. i have the same problem, ive been wondering if i was adopted for a while cuz i am nothing like my parents. my mom has dark brown hair and brown eyes and is 5'5'' and my dad is 5'7'' and has light brown hair and light blue eyes. but i have brown hair not to dark and not to light and i have dark blue eyes with green in them and im 5'3'' and im 16 and im done growing. lol ii mean i kinda look like them by those features but anything else NO lol.

Hello Harold ........ I lived in the last house beside Kurasini Creek
about 4 houses along from the Austrian ambassador's place. Was there for three years with I.A.(EA)Ltd. from '64 to '67 and spent most of time on safari around Tanganyika/Tanzania installing and then maintaining a radio network for Nyerere/regional commissioners.
Wife or self saw Hugo most days and was chased by him once when too close for photograph. Didn't swim but had small boat and avoided him then as he could have capsized us ! I'm now 84 and live in Fiji
